Sing. Pray. Listen. Discover.
In these important aspects of worship you find the "gentle presence" of God, spoken of in this hymn by Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science.
O gentle presence, peace and joy and power;
O Life divine, that owns each waiting hour,
Thou Love that guards the nestling’s faltering flight!
Keep Thou my child on upward wing tonight.

Upcoming Bible Lesson Sermons
Learn how Christian Science has a fresh and distinctly different take on some big theological topics. It may surprise you and lead to healing in your life.
Our upcoming Bible Lesson Sermons, from the Christian Science Quarterly, are made up of citations from the Bible and our textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy.
"Our Master taught no mere theory, doctrine, or belief. It was the divine Principle of all real being which he taught and practised. His proof of Christianity was no form or system of religion and worship, buy Christian Science, working out the harmony of Life and Love." (Science and Health, pg. 26)
Are you willing to move beyond old doctrines, ceremonies and limitations of materialism? We invite you to come hear groundbreaking lesson sermons, read every Sunday at our Glen Ellyn church.
These are the upcoming subjects for our Bible lesson sermons:

Weekly Testimony Meeting
On Wednesdays, at 7:30 pm, our testimony meeting provides a time to sing together and to listen to readings that bring spiritual understanding to a relevant topic. Sometimes it's hard to know how to deal with world crises and problems that weigh heavily on society. This meeting gives you a mid-week mental lift that lightens the load and can melt away these stressful impositions.
The last half hour of our Wednesday evening meeting is a time for audience members to share healings and inspiration that have resulted from their practice of Christian Science. Those attending have the opportunity to testify to the saving and transformative power of Christ, active in their daily lives.
People of all faiths are invited to our services. Our church government is democratic and we have no clergy. Church officers are elected from the membership and include a First Reader and Second Reader who read the Sunday sermon from our "Pastor" – two books – the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. This Bible Lesson Sermon, from the Christian Science Quarterly, is read in all Christian Science churches throughout the world each Sunday. Click here for inter-faith conversations.
