“To build on selfishness is to build on sand.”

Mary Baker Eddy

Bright Candle Glowing

A building needs a strong foundation, just as our lives do. Jesus’ parable of the houses built on rock and on sand points to the futility of building on shifting sand, which is so easily washed away with the tide. Digging a deep foundation on rock (the Christ principles that Jesus taught) is the better way to go. For lasting happiness, let’s learn together how to build on unselfish love, meekness, mutual respect and purity.

Everyone is invited to a special free talk that will expand on these ideas.

Please join us at the Glen Ellyn Public Library, on May 5, to hear “How To Make Change For The Better”, a Christian Science lecture by Janet Hagerty, C.S.B., of St. Louis, Missouri.
