A Little Leaven Leavens the Whole Lump

This week our readings from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook focus on how right thinking and action have an effect on those around us; and also on the importance of being alert to what we might be allowing to influence our thought.

The Apostle Paul asked:

Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?” Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, …Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (1 Corinthians 5)
