Moral courage
The Bible story of Esther brings to light the moral courage it took to save her people, the Jews, from destruction. With prayer and trust in God, she chose to go before the king to plead her cause when that action was forbidden by the kingdom’s law. Our moral choices may not seem so desperate as Esther’s, but they matter in the overall progress of humanity. They show our dedication to God and to obeying the commandments.
Mothers make choices to protect and save their children under all circumstances. This activity reflects our Mother-God, as divine Love, caring for and safeguarding all Her children.
This Wednesday, May 7th, we invite you to our Testimony Meeting at 7:30 pm. The readings will cover these topics and then we will open it up to those attending to share inspiration and healing. The in-person meeting is held at Brookdale in Glen Ellyn. Or, you can join us by Zoom. Everyone is welcome.
