My Shepherd is beside me
It can feel pretty difficult to see or find our way amid the challenges of daily life and so many choices. Even when the path feels unclear or crowded with obstacles, God is quietly leading us. As we slow down, listen, and let Him guide, the way becomes lighter, clearer, and we can see our path forward.
…O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; (Psalm 43)
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. (Psalm 23)Though the way is dark in mortal sense, divine Life and Love illumine it, destroy the unrest of mortal thought, and the supposed reality of error.

Join us this Wednesday, September 2, for our Testimony Meeting. You will hear readings from the Bible, as well as passages from the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health, with key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. We begin at 7:30 pm and there will also be time for attendees to share healings and inspiration, and quiet time as well.
Our meeting is held in person in the Roosevelt Room at Brookdale of Glen Ellyn. You can also join us by Zoom. If struggles or challenges seem to be holding you down, we want you to be lifted up and feel your Shepherd’s loving care.
Wherever He may guide me, no want shall turn me back; My shepherd is beside me, and nothing can I lack. (Christian Science Hymnal, No. 148)
