Freedom comes from God

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (II Corinthians 3:14)

At this time of year when we celebrate freedom, we can remember that the truest and deepest freedom is the one God gives—freely, fully, and without limit. May we proclaim that freedom first, and let it shape every other kind we honor. In the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, we find these passages:

Truth brings the elements of liberty. (pg 224)   Love is the liberator.  (pg 225) Citizens of the world, accept the “glorious liberty of the children of God”, and be free!  This is your divine right. (pg 227)

Join us July 1st for our Testimony Meeting, held in person at Brookdale of Glen Ellyn, at 7:30 pm. You can also join us by Zoom. You will hear readings on freedom from the Bible as well as Science and Health with key to the Scriptures, quoted above.
