From Samson to Jesus
Do you desire a safe and chaos-free society? There’s much to learn from these two very different approaches to achieving law and order.
Samson started out with God-centeredness, but gradually lapsed into sensualism and self-centered thinking and so lost his great strength and freedom. Jesus began with holiness—identifying with the Christ—and never let go of it. This gave the Master Christian, and the many seekers who followed in his way, freedom and dominion over sin, sickness and death. He showed that while materialism can make life precarious, living spiritually brings stability and peace.
Find out more about the Nazarite Samson and the Nazarene Christ Jesus at our Testimony Meeting coming up Wednesday, January 14 at 7:30 pm. We meet in person at Brookdale in Glen Ellyn and also by Zoom. There will be time for sharing inspiration, healings and insights. Visitors are welcome, too.
