Relinquishing human will

Shall we try to drag the weight of our own plans, not knowing how much lighter—and more interesting—the path becomes when we surrender to God’s leading? Or, follow Jesus’ words in the Bible:

... I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
(John 5:30)

...not my will, but thine, be done.
(Luke 22:42)

In Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science writes on pages 490:3-4 and 206:4-5:

Will-power is but a product of belief, and this belief commits depredations on harmony.
and
The power of the human will should be exercised only in subordination to Truth.
