Joy to the world!

The Christmas promise of joy seems especially needed right now. It triumphs over the loudly proclaimed sorrows of the world. We can let the Christ idea, with its joyful assurance, enter thought each new day.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:10, 11)

At our Testimony Meeting this Wednesday, Dec. 17, we will turn our thoughts to a spiritual model for life and see how to put off sorrow and let in joy and peace. We would love to have you join in at 7:30 pm in the Roosevelt Room at Brookdale of Glen Ellyn (next to Aldi’s) or by Zoom.
