“Keep thy heart…”

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” (The Bible, Proverbs 4:23) Keep your heart focused on good. Keep it loving. Keep it pure. Keep it motivated to bless. This works wonders! Literally.

Knowing that one’s heart reflects divine Love, lessens the stubborn insistence that says “my way or the highway”. It helps to unself motives and aims; removes mountains of fear; and heals disease. Many testimonies of healing, including those of heart problems, have been published in the Christian Science periodicals throughout the years.

Wednesday night, September 17, you can hear Bible passages, relating to the heart. Explanations of those citations follow with readings from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, the textbook of Christian Science by Mary Baker Eddy. These show us how to keep the heart free from the world’s angst, fear, callousness, division, heartache or disease.

We invite you to join us at 7:30 pm on September 17 at Brookdale in Glen Ellyn, or by Zoom. There will be time to sing hymns and hear inspiration from those attending, too.
