Spiritual vision

God, divine Mind, possesses the faculty of sight which spiritual man, His idea, reflects. What might it mean to “walk in the light”, as the Bible’s first Epistle of John encourages? It must include seeing beyond what the physical senses perceive. In the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, the author Mary Baker Eddy writes:

Truth and Love enlighten the understanding, in whose “light shall we see light;” and this illumination is reflected spiritually by all who walk in the light and turn away from a false material sense. (Science and Health, page 510)

This Wednesday, October 15, 2025 we will explore the topic of spiritual vision—our true means of seeing—with readings from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook mentioned above. We trust it will be an enlightening evening with healing in store!
