Submergence in Spirit

Spirit, God, is infinite. We are immersed in pure Spirit and its goodness. Sometimes it seems like we are trying to swim through the flotsam of bad news pumped out daily around us. If we are holding constantly to a material perspective of things, this loses touch with the unlimited goodness of Spirit. We can always ask God, in a humble childlike way, to be shown what infinite Spirit is revealing. The Bible says:

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? ... how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (Luke 11)

This Wednesday, August 20, join us for our Testimony Meeting at 7:30 pm. We will have readings from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook—Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy—about submergence in Spirit. This will be followed by testimonies of inspiration and healing from attendees. You are always welcome to visit, or come regularly, to Brookdale of Glen Ellyn, or join us by Zoom.
