A higher education

Education and its importance is on the calendar for this Wednesday’s readings at our 7:30 pm Testimony Meeting. As students head back to school we can support them and everyone with some “higher” learning. Come to hear what the Bible and the Christian Science textbook—Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures—have to say about education. Here’s a sneak peek:

Academics of the right sort are requisite. Observation, invention, study, and original thought are expansive and should promote the growth of mortal mind out of itself, out of all that is mortal. (Science and Health, page 195)

The public is welcome to join us in person at Brookdale of Glen Ellyn. Just ask the receptionist for our meeting in the Roosevelt Room beginning at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, August 27. The meeting is also available by Zoom.
