Honest dealing

Skimming, hacking, spoofing, phishing—the range of scams seems intimidating these days. Alertness and wisdom are necessary whenever we transact business. But what more can we do to feel safe and secure, to prevent and heal cases of theft or fraud for ourselves and our society?

In the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, the author Mary Baker Eddy, writes: “It is ‘easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle,’ than for sinful beliefs to enter the kingdom of heaven, eternal harmony.”

We can find safety and security in God. Our weekly Testimony Meeting, this Wednesday, September 3, will bring you readings on handling crime. You are welcome to join us in person in the Roosevelt Room at Brookdale, located at 60 Nicoll Avenue in Glen Ellyn, or by Zoom.
