Hospitality
Here are some definitions of hospitality: generously receiving friends with kindness; meeting guests’ needs graciously without any expectation of remuneration. At this season, we often open our homes to share joy and love with others. We could also think of hospitality as opening our consciousness to embrace a spiritual view of those we encounter—friends, relatives or strangers.
We welcome everyone this Wednesday, November 19, for our Testimony Meeting at 7:30 pm. Readings from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook on home and hospitality will be followed by testimonies of inspiration and healing from those who would like to share. You are always welcome in person at the Brookdale community of Glen Ellyn (just north of Aldi’s). Or, you can join us by Zoom.
Home is the Father’s sweet “Well done,” God’s daily, hourly gift of grace. We go to meet our neighbor’s need, And find our home in every place.
